Rotherham Together Partnership - Climate and Nature Charter

The Rotherham Climate and Nature Charter has been co-produced by members of the Rotherham Together Partnership to give organisations the opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to tackling the climate and nature emergencies, learn more about how they can reduce their carbon footprint and join a group of climate leaders making a positive difference to local communities throughout the Rotherham borough.

Our 10 principles

The Charter is based on 10 principles which are designed to get to the heart of the climate and nature emergency and encourage immediate and sustained action for the good of Rotherham and its residents.

Why should my organisation sign-up to the Charter?

As well as demonstrating to your customers that you’re committed to tackling climate change and supporting nature recovery, you’ll also get a signed copy of the charter to put up at your place of work and share on social media.

You will have access to technical knowledge through the Council’s climate change team to help you set realistic targets and help you understand your organisations carbon footprint.

You will also be part of Rotherham Together Partnership’s Climate group which hopes to work collaboratively, share best practice and bring about positive change in Rotherham.
